Madrid-based designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is known for her ultra-playful pieces in textured fabrics and emoji-inspired prints. Standouts from last year’s collection included a swimsuit made of hot-pink clam-shell appliques and a suit with a three-dimensional fried egg that hung in the center of the garment. This year, Ruiz de la Prada’s looks are expected to be no less than spectacular, and she’s scheduled for a prime slot during MIAFW. The vibes in this collection were contagious as the vibrant essence of the models nicely complimented individual pieces.
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada ended on a playful, colorful note with an undeniable Spanish accent by some of the likes of Antonio Banderas, Enrique Vega, and the most international capitals of fashion; Paris, Milan and Barcelona.
